I guess you could. You might want to consider just making a glaze made with powdered sugar and the nectar and pouring over. If you decide not to put anything on it I think I would sprinkle it with powdered sugar and garnish with some apricot halves. It would look more finished this way if you can follow me. sometimes an unfrosted cake piece on a plate looks sort of empty.
