Misc.Tanya, I have found that the longer you cook the meatballs in the chili sauce-grape jelly mixture, the better they taste. The mixture actually tastes sort of weird when you first stir it together, but it mellows out with the dripping from the meatballs, and eventually the flavors combine for a wonderful dish. I try to make mine a day ahead and let them cook slowly - not on high - for several hours, and then sit overnight in the sauce.
