Misc.Any reason you couldn't line the pie plate with a pie crust before putting in the tin-foil, apples, more tin-foil, and a top crust? I might try using plastic wrap instead of the foil. That way, you can remove the plastic wrap from the frozen pie, re-stack the pieces, and voila! Apple pie! How long do you bake a frozen pie? Like the frozen ones in the store?
Any reason you couldn't just freeze a complete pie, instead of baking it? Maybe the crust would get soggy?
