Recipe: Praline Brunch Bacon
Breakfast and BrunchPRALINE BRUNCH BACON
1 pound (12 slices) thick-sliced bacon
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Arrange bacon in single layer on broiler rack in broiler pan.
Bake on middle oven rack at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes or until bacon just begins to turn golden brown.
Sprinkle with a mixture of the sugar and chili powder. Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 5 minutes longer or until brown and crisp. Drain praline-side up on paper towels.
