re: Kasutera - Question regarding foil lining of kleenex box

Hi Mrs. M,

I'm not sure if Patrick will see your request since he posted the recipe so long ago so here are my two cents. I'm not really sold on the idea of using kleenex boxes for this. If you must try it, I would cover the boxes completely with foil and set on a baking sheet. I would be concerned about emissions from the inks and glues used to make the boxes and the chance of the paper igniting. Silicone baking pans should give the same results and are a safer alternative. A foil baking pan may also work well for this.

Happy Baking!

Hello - I'd like to clarify - when "lining kleenex box with foil" - do I cover the entire box with foil, inside and out? Or just the inner part where cake batter goes in? I'm assuming I have to line the whole box so as not to burn the box in the oven??? Kind of a dumb question, but I've never heard of this method before, so I need to ask...thanks.
