If you do hot dogs, why don't you give the crescent-roll-wrapped ones a try? I think the recipe for those is right on the tube of the crescent roll dough.

I know as a child, I always had to be the one to wrap the crescent rolls before they went into the oven! It would be a great hands-on lunch that the kids could help prepare them. It might be pretty fun for them!
