Recipe: Gazpacho (using tomato juice, 1970"s)

1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 cup chopped unpared cucumber
2 tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 drops Tabasco
ACCOMPANIMENTS:
Herbed croutons
About 1/3 cup each chopped tomato, unpared cucumber, green bell pepper and onion
Heat tomato juice to boiling. Add bouillon cube; stir until dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients except accompaniments. Chill several hours.
Serve with accompaniments. (Offer the accompaniments in small separate bowls for attractive service.)
Makes 5 appetizer servings (1/2 cup each)
