Kachina - Your recipe is almost identical to mine. Instead of pimento I use chopped red bell pepper or sliced stuffed green olives. Instead of pickle relish I chop up some good dills (Milwaukee or Claussen). Sometimes I add sliced black olives. I also use Miracle Whip Lite now days. Try some fresh snipped dill weed mixed in. Yummy! Have been making it for our 41 years of marriage and have passed it on to our daughters-in-law. Am keeping a looseleaf of all of my 41 years worth of tried and true recipes to pass along some day.
