re: Old Singer sewing machine

I re-wired my old 1947 Singer sewing machine and it was pretty easy- but I had the plug-in. The only mistake I made was buying a cord without a ground wire so back to the store to fix again. This wire was only to the machine plug and the "foot feet" (as my grandma called it). There are other wires in need of fixing- I think to the light but they go into the machine and disappear so I don't think I'll attempt this.
