re: oven baking bread

Misc.
Dear Kathy, there are many recipes for bread not made in the bread machine. I will send you some if you want, but I am sure almost any cookbook will have one or more.

I have recently gotten rid of my bread machine because I enjoy the kneading and the feel of the bread dough. I just find the entire process very comforting and I missed that using the machine. Besides I had so many different recipes and they bread machine wouldn't work with them....
Kneading is the most important thing you can do... knead till it is smooth and elastic feeling and once you get there you will know what I mean. I like to use a marble board, but a well floured counter works just as well. Let me know if you need any more advise, patti
