Recipe: Creamy Dill Cucumbers (make ahead) (Hellmann's, 1979)

Salads - Assorted
CREAMY DILL CUCUMBERS

2 large cucumbers, peeled, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup Hellmann's or Best Foods Real Mayonnaise
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed)
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Toss together first 4 ingredients. Cover; let stand 2 hours. Drain; discard liquid.

In medium bowl stir together remaining ingredients; add cucumbers and onion. Toss to coat well. Cover; chill at least 2 hours.

Makes about 2 cups
