re: packing using food caution
Misc.Hi all,
Since the packing instructions suggesting using marshmallows or popcorn were posted in the past I've read that using foods as packing material can be risky. The problem is that the foods can absorb the exhaust and other harmful fumes in cargo holds and can also attract insects and moisture. The article I read suggested wrapping the food well and using styrofoam as packing material.
I hope that's helpful,
Betsy
