Re: Red/White Checked Tablecloth

Misc.
I'm not sure who I'm replying to, but all the responses were great-- I'd tried marko.com ($75), Kohl's and Wal-Mart (only carries blue and green checks), plus every party, kitchen, and linen store in town and today I found the fabric at Jackman's (BEFORE I read my e-mail!). This way I get matching napkins, too. I wasn't looking forward to hemming them, but the idea about iron-on trim is terrific! Thanks, everybody! (I have a bunch of red/white checked odds and ends, which I use for our weekly spaghetti night, but my husband's boss is coming, so I figured the least I could do was find a tablecloth that didn't fall a foot short of the ends of my table, and at least make a stab at matching napkins). Wish me luck, and thanks again!
