re: runny pie

Hi Patti,

I'm sorry to hear that the pie turned out runny - as a fix for it, if it's fluffy but not set enough to cut I would freeze it to firm it up. If it's like liquid I'd make peach Jell-O (dissolve 1 (3 oz.) box Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water, add 6 ice cubes and stir until dissolved; refrigerate until almost set (if it sets up too much whip it with a whisk to make it smooth); stir in the runny pie filling (I'd also fold in more Cool Whip to make it fluffy) and put it back in crust; chill until firm. I haven't tried the recipe but I'll give it a try soon to check it out.
