re: Stainless Steel or Porcelain Sink

Misc.
This is just from my personal experience, having had both types. I prefer the porcelain sink. They are "quieter" when you put stuff in them. They retain heat much longer when washing by hand. Clean up better. The SS I've had were "noisey". You can quiet them down and insulate by putting that spray-on foam insulator stuff all over the underside. My Hubby said I was NUTS when I did that!! Hey, whatever works, right? The foam helped a lot, but I still prefer porcelain. Lee
