re: Sweet bread using 12 eggs

Misc.
Lisa,
Give me a little more info? Did the bread contain raisins or dried fruit? Did it have a shiny surface?
A lot of sweet breads were baked in large batches for the holidays, hence 12 eggs. I can share a Babka recipe with you which contains 12 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs and 5 1/2 to 6 cups flour if you care to try it.
