re: walnut crush.

I have an original walnut crush box. Walnut Crush was made by Fenn Bros Candy in Sioux Falls, SD. They also made butter brickle _ a delicious toffee bar covered with chocolate and very similar to the Heath "butter brickle". Heath bought up the butter brickle recipe and along with it the Walnut Crush recipe. They promptly discontinued both. Heath then sold the recipe and it ended up being owned by a Candy company in London which has no apparent intention of ever making it again.
This is probably the greatest tragedy in the entire history of confectioning. I've called Heath, Bon Appetit,Chocolatier, and several US Senators and Representatives all to no avail.
Now, disillusioned, I just sit and stare at my Walnut Crush box and remember and "sigh". Dean Nasser
