re: White Truffle Mac and Cheese - problem with recipe

Do not make the recipe for White Truffle Mac and Cheese posted on here, I wasted $70 for all of the ingredients, but someone messed with the recipe - the garlic was so strong not a single person could eat more than one shell and it took an hour and a half just to prepare it to bake - do not make this, keep searching for an accurate recipe!!

We appreciate you taking the time to report the problem with the recipe. It was posted here as it appears on the FoodTV web site (click here), but they give this disclaimer there: "This recipe was provided by professional chefs and has been scaled down from a bulk recipe provided by a restaurant. The Food Network Kitchens chefs have not tested this recipe, in the proportions indicated, and therefore, we cannot make any representation as to the results." I think this must be one of those instances where something was lost in the translation. I made a note on the recipe regarding the problem.
