Replacement Ideas

Misc.

Susan,

Wilton does have a website that you can email them from. It is: www.wilton.com They might be able to give you info on ordering the pieces you need to complete the set. However, I have a few ideas that might help. To hold the sides together, you might try using binder clips, they are those black metal clips with silver loops on each side that are used for holding large stacks of paper together. They work sort of like clothes pins, and you can get them from an office supply store for about 25 cents each. Or, the other thing you could try are regular key rings, if you stick the sides of the pan between the coil, it should hold pretty tight. For either of these things, you shold have several around the mold, I would recommend about three on each side.
As for holding the pan upright, the only thing I can think of, would possibly be an angelfood cake pan, the kind that have a removable bottom. If you take out the bottom, and turn it upside down, you might be able to put the cake mold in the center. But, I don't know how well this will work, because I don't know how big the mold actually is.
One tip for baking, is to turn your oven down by 25 degrees. Your cake will rise more. Also, the tube that came with it is for even cooking. It helps bake the center more evenly.
I hope some of this helps!
