Judy, as I mentioned .... I'm 'looking' for my recipes ....this summer I was sorting through tons of recipes ....organizing(?ha) favorites into a 3 ring binder and using other binders, etc. for others. Then we got a call that a bunch of out-of-staters were coming and DH shoved everything into 4 book boxes .... in no order! I am SLOWLY making some headway (whew ... found 2 recipes I NEEDED for Thanksgiving) but there are so many other things! Maybe if it snows this winter I'll get to it! I did e-mail my daughter -- but think she was on a business trip this week.

If I were to 'guess'at the recipe - it is done (egg, etc.) like the nut/or/pecan tassies. Using about 3/4 chopped fresh cranberriesand 1/4 chopped nuts (I usually use pistachios - as to ME they're HOLIDAY! - BUT HAVE used walnuts, pecans, filberts). By the 3/4 and 1/4 I mean equivalent to the amount of nuts called for in the nut tassies. The egg, brown sugar, etc. the same. We also usually sift a wee bit of powdered sugar on them just before serving. Thedough is the usual tassie dough -and baking time too I believe.

But I doubt this will help you for an open house. Sorry. When we do locate them - I will post. Sorry to be in such a confused state ..... but it happens!
