Nancy... I had to laugh when I read that you cannot make a decent meatloaf... you're not alone in that department... and I'm almost 70. I can make gourmet recipes without a hitch, but meatloaf... no way; either too dry, won't hold together or taste downright ugly. I'm going to try Joe's meatloaf (the one without the sausage) and see if I can (at last) come up with a winner. My son won't eat meatloaf, to this day, because of my culinary failures.
