Hello Tiffani

Yes that's correct. On low 10-12 hours or on high 5-6 hours. I put mine on high for 6 hours. If you like a really, really thick stew then you can take an additional can of beef broth and add about 3 tablespoons of corn starch to the broth. Mix it together and then add to the stew. It depends how thick you like it, normally I don't add the cornstarch. It's great either way.
