We make this for Christmas (more)

The last couple of Christmases it's been rainy and blustery outside, so I've made this all day long. (We munch on goodies all day long and have no great desire for a large Christmas Day meal!)

The recipe I got from my French-Italian secretary had, instead of "pasta," a small dumpling made from eggs, parmesan cheese & flour. We LOVE this for Christmas, since it takes all day to make and we enjoy the aroma for several hours.

(Too bad it's still August . . .)
