Here is your recipe from My Great Recipes. I hope it's not too late!
CHOCOLATE FROSTED COCONUT COOKIES
1/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup flaked coconut
FOR THE CHOCOLATE ICING:
1 tbsp. butter
1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
3 tbsp. cream or milk (more as needed)
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Cream 1/4 cup butter with sugar until blended. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in sour cream, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Add flour and coconut. Mix until stiff dough forms. Drop by rounded spoonful onto prepared cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or golden around edges and firm to touch.
Frost when cool.
TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE ICING:
Place 1 tbsp. butter and chocolate in double boiler. Melt over hot water. Stir in cream or milk, dash of salt, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix until glossy adding more milk if necessary.
