I have taken much care before deciding to respond to your post.

Betsy's site instructions ask that we send questions and comments to her via e-mail, not as a post on the message board. I think we are rather breaking the site rules here.

I am guessing you are expecting only positive replies to you post. However,
I have decided to take this opportunity to say I think many of us need to work harder to abide by Betsy's requests in using the site.... For example:

Folks are still breaking the thread by posting recipes or thank you notes in spots other than the original request. Many of these messages contain VERY helpful information related to the original request and/or recipe.

Because the thread is broken, AND usually the message title does not contain the original subject, the followup post is lost for people who search TKL months or years from now. I think this is such a shame.
