Wow Gladys...these sound tantalizing!!

Misc.
Hi Gladys,

Wow, is all I could say after reading each recipe, they sound marvelous!!

Funny you should mention clipping recipes from newspapers and magazines....I have done that since I began cooking and wondered if anyone else in my family had done it. While visiting an aunt in West Palm Beach recently, we started talking about recipes and out she pulls a notebook where she had taped many recipes from newspapes and magazines. I was simply blown away because my Mom had never done that. I had often wondered where I had gotten that "quirk" from...

I must get my love of cooking and all things in the kitchen from her and her aunt Estelvina and my mom and my aunt Aracely, well, all the women in the family! They all love to cook! I feel truly lucky that the Cuban culture is still so alive in our family so that I can glean these recipes from them! Through the years, becauase of marriage, there has been the Southern and New England cultures thrown in...who could ask for anything more??

Thank you so much for posting all these yummy recipes, I will be trying them out in the future. They all sound scrumptious!!

Love, Gina
