ISO: Old Fashioned Southern Camp Stew

Does anyone have a recipe for Camp Stew? I'd sure appreciate one! I grew up in
the south and remember the wonderful smell and taste of Camp Stew cooking in
huge cast iron caldrons during community festivites. I'd love to make it for my
children!
