Recipe: Shredded Chicken Sandwiches (crock pot)

Sandwiches
SHREDDED CHICKEN SANDWICHES

1/4 cup olive oil
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
FOR SERVING:
8 sandwich buns
Pickle slices (optional)

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes a side. Transfer chicken to slow cooker.

Add onion to skillet. Saute until golden. Add remaining ingredients except buns and pickles to skillet. Stir well. Pour over chicken in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

TO SERVE:
Shred chicken. Spoon onto buns. Serve with pickles if desired.
