Recipe(tried): Using Sourdough Starter in a Bread Machine

I don't use the Amish starters - have a sour dough starter and I often use it in my ABM.

Most of the bread books give recipes for sourdough breads in your ABM - either made on manual/dough or completely.

If I'm using my sourdough starter in one of my recipes that does not call for a starter - I usually use one cup starter - and then eliminate 1/2 cup each liquid (water) and flour. And I am very careful to check my dough after it has worked for a bit ... as it will often need a little more either flour or liquid.

Give it a try ... it should work fine.
