Royal Icing is the icing that they use to hold ginerbread houses together.
It is made of egg whites, cream of tartar and powdered sugar.
to make it you need:
3 egg whites
1 1/2 tea cream of tartar
3=31/2 cup powdered sugar
beat egg whites until they turn frothy. add tartar and continue whipping until the egg whites are stiff but not dry. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar and continue beating until the mixture reaches a spreading consistency. Keep covered and refrigerated until needed
