Recipe(tried): Crockpot Pulled Pork

Misc.
Hi maybe this will help in your search. I can't really tell you what measurements I use but I'll try to explain.

I usually take a 5 lb pork roast (most of the fat trimmed off but leave a little on to help it baste itself ) and put into the crockpot with:

3/4 to 1 cup of cider vinegar
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
3/4 cup brown sugar (more can be added if you like it sweeter)
1 teaspoon liquid hickory smoke (more can be added if you like but be careful less is usually best.)

Just start out light on the vinegar and brown sugar and more can be added as it gets tender and starts shredding. Start this cooking the night before and it should be done by lunchtime of the next day.
