Recipe: Chocolate Fudge Sheet Cake

Chocolate Fudge Sheet Cake

1 cup water
1/2 cup shortening
1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs well beaten

Bring to boil, water, shortening, margarine and cocoa. And let cool for about 15 minutes. Add to the above mixture, flour, salt, sugar and vanilla.
Put soda in buttermilk in separate bowl and stir.
Then add buttermilk, then eggs to mixture.
Bake in a greased and floured (18x12-inch) sheet pan at 350 degrees.

Icing
1 stick margarine
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 box powdered sugar (I add a little less, so it won't be to sweet)
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup coconut

Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil: remove from heat.
Add sugar, nuts and coconut. Spread on hot cake.
