Hi Betty,

I haven't tried it, but I think you can substitute Pillsbury Date Bread Mix (or other brand date bread mix) in the recipe you've been using. Above is a fruitcake recipe using Pillsbury Date Bread Mix or Nut Bread Mix for you to try.
