Recipe: Garlic Shrimp with Spaghetti (using olive oil, fresh tomatoes and Parmesan)

GARLIC SHRIMP WITH SPAGHETTI

"Simple enough to make for the family and delicious enough to serve to guests!"

8 ounces thin spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Durkee Minced Garlic
1 pound medium shrimp (frozen or fresh, deveined)
5 to 6 roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon Durkee Parsley Flakes
1 tablespoon Durkee Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan or Asiago cheese

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.

Heat olive oil on medium heat in a deep skillet. Add the garlic and shrimp to the skillet and raise the heat to medium high. Cook 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and continue to cook 1 minute or until the shrimp are pink and just cooked through.

Remove from heat and add the parsley and lemon pepper. Stir gently.

Place spaghetti on large serving platter. Pour the shrimp mixture on the pasta. Top with shredded cheese. Serve immediately.

Make 4 servings
