Recipe(tried): A & W Coney Sauce - Easier approach
Misc. I have used Ortega taco seasoning mix (or your favorite brand) for Coney Island dogs.
To me the additional secret is finely chopped onions and to add three times as much water and boil down until the ground meat is pretty fine. You have to keep a potato masher on it as it cooks.
Also, REAL franks in casings that are grilled not boiled.
