ASIAN CREAMY GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
2 pkg (10 oz each) frozen green beans
1 (8 oz) can Chun King Water Chestnuts, sliced
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms
Milk, as neede to make 2 cups total liquid (see directions)
1/4 cup Mazola Corn Oil
2 tbsp Argo Corn Starch
1 tsp salt, and dash pepper
1 (3 oz) can Chun King Chow Mein Noodles, divided use
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Cook 2 pkg frozen green beans.
Drain beans and mix the drained liquid with liquid from the water chestnuts, mushrooms and milk to make 2 cups total liquid.
Mix oil, corn starch, salt, and dash pepper in saucepan. Slowly stir in combined liquids. Cook and stir over low heat until thick.
Remove from heat, stir in drained vegetables. Layer in casserole with half of the chow mein noodles. Top with rest of noodles and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a 374 degree F oven for 20 minutes.
Makes 8 servings
