Recipe(tried): Baked Chicken

hi ladies this is from a Luby Cafeteria cookbook that I thought you might want to try, it's worked well for me..

Baked Chicken

1 1/4 to 2 1/2 lb broiler-fryer chicken
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter melted
1 tsp seasoned salt

Heat oven to 400, cut chicken in half down the backbone and breastbone. Rinse in cool running water and dry with paper towels. Tuck wings under and place in shallow baking pan. Brush with butter and salt. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until cooked through, basting with remaining butter several times during cooking..joy mo
