Recipe: Baking Times for Mini Loaves and Mini Loaf Pan Recipes

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
Hello,

When converting pan sized in baking, the baking time will depend on the denseness of your batter. Quickbread type loaves can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes at 325 or 350 degrees F. Start checking the loaves at about 30 minutes, test with a toothpick or skewer just off-center as you would a cake. Also, any muffin recipe can be baked in a mini loaf pan.

If you're using cake batter the loaves should bake in a shorter time (start testing at 30 mintues).

Yeast bread loaves should be baked until fully risen, golden brown and sound hollow when bottom is tapped.

Here are some recipes to compare yours with:

Muffin recipes can also be baked in mini loaf pans to really expand your options.

I hope that's a help.

Happy Baking!
