Recipe(tried): Ivar's Red Clam Chowder - Seecret ingredient
SoupsI have also been looking to recreate it also as no Ivar's in Boston. Relatives back home maintain (and we have all been eating Iver's for 40 years), paprika, might be the one ingredient missing. Pursue a white clam chowder recipe and brown onions initially in paprika and blend together. It might work. I came very close one time. Other persons say a little tomato juice is the secret.
