Recipe: Baking with Silicone Pan - Instructions for Use

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
ADVERTISEMENT
I just purchased a silicone baking set and the directions are as follows:

Before first use, wash in warm soapy water and allow to air dry.

Spray with non-stick spray before first use (not each time being used). Yes, the temperature settings are the same as with metal pans but not to exceed 500 degrees F.

After baking, allow baked goods to cool completely in silicone pan before removing.

To remove baked goods, peel pan away from outside of muffin/cake. Do not use sharp knives to remove baked goods.

Happy baking!

UPDATE:
Please notice that the directions stated to use a baking spray before "first use". Also, Holly, I believe you need to support the pan with a baking sheet while taking it in and out of the oven to avoid spills or accidents. The list of directions I posted were straight from the manufacturer.
