Recipe: Marshmallow Creme and Marshmallows - Measurements, Conversions, and Substitutions

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
I hope this helps if you see any pumpkin recipe, most of the information says that with the proper exchange you can use marshmallow fluff and marshmallows interchangeably with little notice difference. Good luck.

CONVERSIONS FOR MARSHMALLOWS AND MARSHMALLOW CREME
Source: Kraft Foods

7 oz Marshmallow Creme = approximately 1 1/2 cups

13 oz Marshmallow Creme = approximately 3 cups

1 Regular Marshmallow = 13 Miniature Marshmallows

8 Regular Marshmallows = 1 cup

16 oz bag Miniature = 8 cups

10.5 oz bag Miniature = 5 1/2 cups

50 Miniature Marshmallows = 1/2 cup Miniature Marshmallows

5 Regular Marhsmallows = 1/2 cup

64 Regular Marshmallows = 16 oz bag

MARSHMALLOWS
Ten large marshmallows = 1 cup miniature marshmallows; 4 large marshmallows = 1 ounce; 1/2 cup mini marshmallows = 1 ounce.

MARSHMALLOW CREME OR FLUFF
1 (6- or 7-ounce) jar Marshmallow Creme or Fluff = Gently heat 1 (16-ounce) package marshmallows plus 3 1/2 tablespoons light corn syrup. Gently melt in a double boiler, stirring constantly

Marshmallow creme can usually be substituted in recipes which use melted marshmallows. The normal substitution is 1 (7oz) jar of creme for 2 cups mini marshmallows. So your recipe will need one and a half jars. As with any substitution the final result may vary slightly from the original.

SUBSTITUTIONS
For 1 cup marshmallow cream heat 16 large or 160 miniature marshmallows + 2 tsp corn syrup in the top of a double boiler.
