Recipe(tried): Bar-B-Que Beef Biscuits (using refrigerated biscuit dough)
Main Dishes - Beef and Other MeatsThe bar-b-que beef biscuits are an excellent easy dish to make. We use "Sonny's Sweet Bar-b-que sauce" and it is just delicious. The whole family loves it.
BAR-B-QUE BEEF BISCUITS
1 roll refrigerated biscuit dough
1 lb hamburger meat
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 cup of your favorite bar-b-que sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Pop open the biscuit dough package and remove the dough. In a muffin pan, place a biscuit in its own hole, and push down the middle of the dough to make a pocket for the meat.
Put hamburger meat, onions, and green peppers in frying pan, and cook over medium heat until meat is brown.
Add the bar-b-que sauce and mix in the pan. Spoon out meat and fill in the biscuits until level at top. Sprinkle the top with cheese.
Bake for 14 minutes, or follow the time given in the biscuit instructions.
