Appetizers and Snacks
BARBECUED SAUSAGE BALLS

1 lb. bulk sausage
1 slightly beaten egg
1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 cup catsup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Mix first 4 ingredients and shape into about 2 dozen 1/2 inch balls.

In ungreased skillet, brown balls slowly on all sides about 15 minutes. Pour off excess fat.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and simmer at least 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to coat meat.
