Recipe: Bitter Chocolate Cream and More coffee extras

Beverages
Great minds think alike - I too set up a coffee "bar" for Thanksgiving in 2002. I had decaf and regular coffee, hazelnut syrup, regular and raw sugar, and plain and flavored cream.

Christine and AJ had excellent ideas.

Here are a couple more:

Whip heavy cream and serve it in an old silver gravy boat. Or flavor whipped cream with chocolate (recipe below).
Shave some Callebaut or Ghirardelli chocolate and offer it as a topping.

Bitter Chocolate Cream - Bradley Ogden
Makes 4 servings

2 oz bittersweet chocolate
1 oz corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 oz heavy cream
1/2 c heavy cream

Melt the chocolate, then stir in the corn syrup, vanilla, and 1 oz heavy cream. After each ingredient is added, stir until smooth. Strain if necessary. Whip the 1/2 cup heavy cream lightly and fold in the chocolate sauce.
