Recipe: Broadstreet's Tortilla Soup

This is not from Gorumet magazine but hope you'll enjoy it!

Broadstreet's Tortilla Soup

2 qrts chicken stock
3/4 large green pepper
1/2 med red onion
1 tsp (2 cloves) garlic, chopped
2 tsp marjoram, whole leaf
1/2 med yellow onion
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp gound coriander
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3/4 tsp chili powder
3 c. tomatoes diced (fresh or canned)
2 Tbs lime juice
1/4 c orange juice
2 Tbs tequila
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c cheddar cheese, grated
sour cream
Tortilla chips

Bring chicken stock to a simmer and add all otheer ingredinets except the cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes. Just before serving add cheese and melt. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and a few chips in each bowl . makes about 2 qrts.
