is a type of green related to turnip green. You might know it by another name. Also called rapini, rape, and I have seen it called broccoli raab. I would guess it is called broccoli rabe because it has leaves and very small "heads" that look a little like broccoli in that they are made up of little buds. It has a strong, slightly bitter flavor that becomes more pronounced when it is overcooked. Usually sold in bunches. That is the extent of what I know about it, I like to use it in pasta dishes.
