Recipe(tried): Broiled Lettuce Salad

Salads - Assorted
Broiled Lettuce Salad

1 or 2 heads of romaine sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
3/4 cup Buttermilk salad dressing
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onions

Place lettuce slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Place two tomato slices on each lettuce slice. Spoon about 1 tablespoon dressing onto each tomato slice; sprinkle with cheese.

Set the oven control to broil. Broil the salads with the tops 2 to 3 inches from the heat, just until the dressing and cheese bubbles, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with the green onions to serve.
