I hope this recipe comes close!

Brownie Pie

3 egg whites
Dash salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup fine chocolate wafer crumbs (Nabisco ice box cookies)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pint whipping cream (or Cool Whip)

Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form, gradually adding sugar.
Beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold in crumbs, nuts, and vanilla.
Spread evenly in a 9 inch buttered pie pan.
Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for about 35 minutes.
Cool; spread top with whipping cream or Cool Whip.
Chill 3-4 hours.
May garnish if you desire.

Happy Baking,
