Recipe: California Creamettes Macaroni Salad (Creamettes recipe, 1980's)

CALIFORNIA CREAMETTES MACARONI SALAD

1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes Elbow Macaroni (2 cups uncooked)
2 avocados, peeled and pitied, cut into chunks
1 medium zucchini, chopped
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
2/3 cup sliced ripe olives
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1 cup Italian dressing
4 to 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Prepare Creamettes Elbow Macaroni according to package directions; drain.

In large bowl, combine macaroni and remaining ingredients, except bacon; toss to mix. Cover; chill thoroughly.

Before serving, loss gently and garnish with crumbled bacon. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 4-6 servings
