Recipe: Cheese Pie (Oster Blender Manual 1957)

CHEESE PIE

4 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
16 ounces dry cottage cheese
1 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash salt
2 (9-inch) graham cracker crusts

Put the egg yolks and sugar in the blender container. Cover, and run at Hi Speed until lemon colored.

Add milk, flour, vanilla and cottage cheese. Mix at Hi Speed until smooth.

Beat the egg whites with a rotary beater until stiff. Fold in the processed mixture. Pour into graham cracker crust.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour. Turn off the heat, open the oven door and let the pie remain inside for 1 hour to cool as the oven cools.

Makes 2 (9-inch) pies
